A similar tool you can use is the Learning Module.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Task<\/em> tool is primarily used to keep track of work and remind you of important assignments that must be completed. It also shows the due date of the task.<br \/>\nExcept from class tasks that are created from the instructor, the students can also create personal tasks.<\/p>\n<p>To find the <strong>Task<\/strong> tool, follow the directions below (while inside your course):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click &#8220;<strong>Tools&#8221;<\/strong> in the Course menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;<strong>Task&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To create a task<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Click &#8220;<strong>Create Personal Task&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2014\/11\/Create-Course-Task.png\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2805\" title=\"Create Course Task\" src=\"http:\/\/www.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2014\/11\/Create-Course-Task.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"479\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2014\/11\/Create-Course-Task.png 642w, https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2014\/11\/Create-Course-Task-300x171.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 479px) 100vw, 479px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type the name of task you are about to create.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) Type a description for the task.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the <strong>Due Date<\/strong> of the task.<\/li>\n<li>Set the <strong>Priority <\/strong>of the task.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are 3 priority symbols:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> High<\/strong> priority icon \u2013 exclamation mark<\/li>\n<li><strong>Normal <\/strong>priority \u2013 no icon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Low <\/strong>priority icon \u2013 an arrow pointing down<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click &#8220;<strong>Submit&#8221;<\/strong> to create the task.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note: Tasks are not available in Ultra Course view.
