{"id":3205,"date":"2015-09-16T09:43:28","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T09:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/?page_id=3205"},"modified":"2024-07-10T15:26:11","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T15:26:11","slug":"bookshelf-by-vitalsource-instructors-updated","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/bookshelf-by-vitalsource-instructors-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"Activate Bookshelf by VitalSource"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Activate your Vital Source user account via Blackboard Learn<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To access the eTextbook&#8217;s content, you will first need to activate your Vital Source user account via Blackboard Learn.<\/p>\n<p>To do that follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit your Blackboard Learn course.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>eTextbook<\/strong> menu item you have created from the + button.<\/li>\n<li>Click the eTextbook link you see to launch the Bookshelf by VitalSource.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you open the eTextbook item on your Ultra view course, you will be redirected to the <strong>Launch Bookshelf Link<\/strong> page and then you will be asked to Log in with your ACG credentials (@acg.edu). After that you will be able to view all the books you want for your students and add them to your Favorites list.<\/p>\n<p>To\u00a0<strong>Register<\/strong> follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Create a VitalSource account.<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2022\/09\/etextbook.png\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5330\" src=\"http:\/\/www.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2022\/09\/etextbook.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2022\/09\/etextbook.png 735w, https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2022\/09\/etextbook-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2022\/09\/etextbook-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>On the next page, you have to fill in your personal information.
