{"id":5965,"date":"2024-11-27T16:08:56","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T16:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/?page_id=5965"},"modified":"2024-11-27T17:25:11","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T17:25:11","slug":"grades-ultra","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/grades-ultra\/","title":{"rendered":"Grades &#8212; Ultra"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Grades &#8211; Ultra<\/h2>\n<p><iframe title=\"Check Grades in Blackboard\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V6Zxl2YK5OM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Grades &#8211; Gradebook page shows the status of gradable items, such as tests, assignments, journal and blog entries, and discussion posts.<\/p>\n<p>It may include item names, details, due dates, student and instructor dates of activity, posted grades, points possible, links to rubrics used for grading, and your instructor\u2019s comments about the items.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blackboard-user-sentiment\"><strong>Grades for all courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To view your grades for all courses in a single list, from the navigation bar, select\u00a0<span class=\"emphasize\">Grades<\/span>. Your grades are organized by course name and term in alphabetical order. You can select most items in any course to view details.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Keep in mind<\/strong><\/span>: Your final exam and final course grade cannot be seen from Blackboard Learn. You can see them from the myACG Portal (enter your ID and PIN numbers to login) and the Registrar\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blackboard-user-sentiment\"><strong>Grades for a single course<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To view all the grades for a specific course, from the Grades page, select the course to view. Then select the Gradebook tab.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/rich_text_large\/public\/images\/2024-05\/Learn-93-Student-Improved-GB-2-.png.jpg?itok=U96Nr2jo\" alt=\"Student view of the gradebook displaying the grade indicator on the Gradebook tab and corresponding purple indicators for the 3 relevant items; the new \u201c(Late)\u201d label is also visible\" width=\"650\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"emphasize\">Current Grade<\/span><span class=\"interface\">\u00a0<\/span>displays your overall grade to date. Select the grade pill to learn more about\u00a0how your overall grade is calculated. Your instructor may choose not to add an overall grade.<\/li>\n<li>For each item in the list, you can view the status, number of attempts, and if you&#8217;ve received feedback. \u00a0View which attempts you&#8217;ve started, submitted before the due date, and if any submissions are or will be late. After the due date passes, submission info appears in red.<\/li>\n<li>If the due date passes, you may see zeros for work you haven&#8217;t submitted. You can still submit attempts to update your grade. Your instructor can determine grade penalties for late work.<\/li>\n<li>If your instructor uses\u00a0attendance for grading, you&#8217;ll see an attendance grade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>View grades and feedback<\/h2>\n<p>In the\u00a0<span class=\"emphasize\">Details &amp; Information<\/span>\u00a0panel, under\u00a0<span class=\"emphasize\">Grading<\/span>, you can review what you submitted, available correct answers, and your grade and feedback. If your instructor left feedback, select the purple bubble button to view it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extra Info<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your instructor may choose to hide the correct answers to automatically scored questions until all students have submitted. A banner appears at the top of the assessment with this information. Check back later to see if answers have been revealed.<\/li>\n<li>Your instructor must manually grade some question types such as Essays, and then post the assessment grade and feedback. Your grades also appear on the global and course grades pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"blackboard-user-sentiment\">Grade pills<\/h2>\n<p>Your instructor determines how to display your grade for each graded item:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Letter grade<\/li>\n<li>Points<\/li>\n<li>Percentage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/rich_text_large\/public\/images\/2018-07\/ultra_student_grade_pill_colors.png.jpg?itok=lzI1h83O\" alt=\"Grades organized by letter\" width=\"503\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The grade pill for each assessment question and graded item may appear in colors or with dark backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>For the colored grade pills, the highest score range is green and the lowest is red.
