Students can submit assignments as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Text that students include on the Upload Assignment page.<\/li>\n<li>Attached files.<\/li>\n<li>A combination of both text and attached files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>View the video below on how to create a Bb assignment:<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Create Assignments in Blackboard\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JTpVpISRZM0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>To add a Blackboard Assignment in your course follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From the Home course page roll over the <strong>Plus<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Assignment, <\/strong>from the right pop-up menu.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the <strong>Name <\/strong>(required field) in the Create Assignment page.<\/li>\n<li>Add instructions in the content editor (optional).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/rich_text_large\/public\/images\/2024-08\/learn_ultra_instructor_Assignments_Create.png.jpg?itok=rcbz-oCG\" alt=\"Course content page, with the dropdown Create Item menu open and the Assignment option highlighted on the right\" width=\"622\" height=\"392\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/rich_text_large\/public\/images\/2024-07\/learn_ultra_instructor_Assignments_NewAssignmentPage.png.jpg?itok=aNZHnDDM\" alt=\"The New Assignment page\" width=\"667\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enter a descriptive title so students can easily find the assignment among your course content. The title on the Course Content page appears as the link students select to view the materials. If you don&#8217;t add a title, &#8220;New Assignment&#8221; and the date appear in the content list. If you don&#8217;t add content, the assignment won&#8217;t appear on the Course Content page.<\/p>\n<h4>Attach Files<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Attach a file from your computer by clicking the <b>Attachment <\/b>button or Drag and Drop the file you want to attach. You can drag one or more files from your computer to the highlighted Attachments area.<\/li>\n<li>You can save time by uploading documents directly from your preferred <strong>Cloud storage<\/strong> solution when authoring content or creating assignments. Your students can also upload assignments directly from their chosen solution. In order to upload through the <strong>Cloud Storage, <\/strong>you will need to click the <strong>Plus<\/strong> button to access the drop-down menu. Select &#8220;<strong>Cloud Storage&#8221;.\u00a0 <\/strong>You can also select to add some of the other options, such as Math equations, Images, Media, and YouTube videos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><em><a href=\"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/assessments-and-grading\/screenshot-4\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6390\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6390\" src=\"https:\/\/web.acg.edu\/web\/blackboard\/files\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"152\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><em><br \/>\n<strong>Keep in mind: Students can access their cloud storage files when they submit assignments.<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Change the Due Date<\/strong>: Enter the <strong>Due Date<\/strong> for the assignment. After <strong>Due Date<\/strong> has passed the submitted assignments are graded as <strong>late<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Grades<\/strong>: You will find it under the category Grading &amp; Submissions. You can add the <strong>Points <\/strong>so as to grade the assignment (required field). <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you do not wish to grade the assignment add the <strong>0\u00a0value.<\/strong><\/span><\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>In the <strong>Submission Details<\/strong> field, select the number of &#8220;<b>Attemps Allowed&#8221;<\/b>\u00a0for assignment submissions that will be allowed to the students.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Grading Options<\/strong> field you can enable<strong> &#8220;Anonymous Grading&#8221;<\/strong>, which hides the name of all students during the grading process. You can disable this option on a specific date or after all student submissions are graded. You can select <strong>Delegated Grading<\/strong>, which passes grading responsibilities to other graders. Once you have enabled this option, a field will appear below where you can select where to give grader privileges and which papers you want them to grade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Display of Grades<\/strong> field, you can select how you want to grade the students and how these grades will appear . In the &#8220;<b>Grades Using&#8221;<\/b> option, you can choose in what format you want to grade the students (ex.
