Original"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-smooth=\"accordion\" class=\"\"><div role=\"header\">File Requirements<\/div><div role=\"content\"><\/p>\n<h3>File Requirements:<\/h3>\n<p>To submit successfully, Turnitin requires files to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>less than 100MB;<\/li>\n<li>has a minimum of 20 words (unless the assignment settings state otherwise)<\/li>\n<li>is less than 800 pages (.xls\/.xlsx and .csv files must be less than 450 pages)<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Word\u00ae (.doc\/.docx) &#8211;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If using unsupported processor, it may be needed to change the file into .txt or . rtf<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li>OpenOffice Text (.odt)<\/li>\n<li>WordPerfect\u00ae (.wpd)<\/li>\n<li>PostScript (.ps)<\/li>\n<li>HTML<\/li>\n<li>Hangul Word Processor (.hwp)<\/li>\n<li>Rich text format (.rtf)<\/li>\n<li>Plain text (.txt)<\/li>\n<li>Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets via Google Drive&#x2122;<\/li>\n<li>Adobe\u00ae PDF (.pdf)<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft PowerPoint\u00ae (.pptx, .ppt, .ppsx, and .pps)<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Excel\u00ae (.xls\/.xlsx) &#8211;\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you have a .xls\/.xlsx file that is 450 pages or more you have to save the file in a PDF form.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Note<\/span>: If you have any problem regarding the supported submissions documents by Turnitin please click\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/help.turnitin.com\/feedback-studio\/turnitin-website\/student\/submitting-a-paper\/file-requirements.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you need to submit a file that does not need to be checked for similarity, but does need grading the only types of files acceptable are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Password protected files<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft\u00ae Works (.wps) files<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Word 2007 macros-enabled .docm files<\/li>\n<li>OpenOffice Text (.odt) files created and downloaded from Google Docs online<\/li>\n<li>Document (.doc) files created using OpenOffice, as they are not 100% Microsoft Word equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Apple Pages<\/li>\n<li>Spreadsheets created outside of Microsoft Excel (i.e. .ods)<\/li>\n<li>Text with visual effects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><div role=\"header\">How to upload an assignment in Turnitin<\/div><div role=\"content\"><\/p>\n<h3>How to upload an assignment in Turnitin<\/h3>\n<p>To upload an assignment in the Turnitin\u00a0system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the Bb course.<\/li>\n<li>Open the content area your instructor has specified (i.e. Assignments) so as to locate the assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the assignment&#8217;s name link so\u00a0 as to read the instructions provided and submit it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first time you enter Turnitin, your user account is activated so:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first webpage you see is the <strong><em>Turnitin User <\/em><em>Agreement<\/em><\/strong> page.<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;<strong>I agree &#8212; <\/strong>button so as to upload your paper.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Submit File <\/strong>window will pop up asking for the submission title and file. After 3 resubmissions though, you will need to wait 24 hours for the <strong>Similarity Report<\/strong> to be generated.<\/p>\n<p>After successfully uploading an assignment, you can upload another one, if your instructor has enabled re-submissions. Visit the Turnitin assignment and click on its name to enter the Turnitin environment.
