Coca-Cola Hellas, S&B, and DIAGEO are the American College of Greece’s latest partners in the International Internship & Study Abroad Program (IISAP), founded with the LIBRA Group.
“With our outstanding new partners joining stellar founding partner LIBRA in the International Internship & Study Abroad Program, we expect to be able to place more than 30 students this year, well on our way to our goal of offering 100 talented students this amazing opportunity,” says ACG President David G. Horner.
DEREE students are eligible to participate in the innovative program that enables highly qualified young men and women to spend a semester abroad in the US or UK studying at a partner institution followed (or proceeded) by a five-month internship at an international company. Twenty-six students participated in IISAP in its first two years and have travelled to eight cities in five countries on three continents. Their projects have focused on a variety of fields including communications, information technology, real-estate management, renewable energy, finance, financial research, and hospitality.
The Program, begun with founding partner the LIBRA Group, now counts Coca-Cola, S&B, DIAGEO, and Johnson & Johnson (the last offers semester abroad scholarships) as partners.

The Coca-Cola Internship Program – 10 DEREE students – Spring Internship January 27 – June 20
The Coca-Cola Internship Program is a combined study abroad/international internship program designed exclusively for DEREE undergraduate students. Ten students from DEREE will have the opportunity of interning with Coca-Cola in a European country – with the option of studying abroad for one semester at one of ACG’s exchange partner institutions across the globe.
Once selected for the program, Coca-Cola interns will be assigned a work placement in one of the company’s key business functions, such as marketing, commercial, knowledge and insights, human resources and finance, at one of Coca-Cola’s offices in Europe, which include Milan, Warsaw and Vienna.
DIAGEO Internship Program – 2 DEREE students – Spring Internship January 27 – June 20
The DIAGEO Internship Program is an international internship program designed exclusively for DEREE undergraduate students, aimed at linking the student community with the business world. Following a rigorous application and interview process, two students from DEREE – The American College of Greece will be assigned a work placement with DIAGEO in the finance business function of one of its European offices (London).
S&B Internship Program – 2 DEREE students – Spring Internship January 27 – June 20
The S&B Internship Program is an international internship program designed exclusively for DEREE undergraduate students. Two students from DEREE will be assigned to a work placement in one of S&B’s support functions in North America (Philadelphia), such as information technology, supply-chain management, human resources, financial services and others.
