<p>Concert pianist and founder of Keys of Change <strong>Panos Karan</strong> (PIERCE ’00), is once again making the news, this time bringing young Fukushima musicians &#8211; survivors of the 2011 tsunami and nuclear accident &#8211; to perform at the Southbank Centre in London on April 2<sup>nd</sup>.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.acg.edu/bikeathon/">Bike-A-Thon</a><em> </em>athlete Dimitris Politis (DEREE ’90), who helped raise over $20,000 (€15,000) for eight student scholarships (four at DEREE and four at PIERCE) cycling 800 kilometers in April last year, met with the scholarship recipients and members of the ACG community during a special event last month.</p>

<p>Congratulations are in order for Eva Simatou (PIERCE ‘97), an actress, DEREE Theatre Arts instructor and PIERCE acting coach, who was selected out of 2,000 candidates (14 places) for a Contemporary Drama course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) over the summer.</p>
