The ALBA Graduate Business School at the American College of Greece partnered with the US Embassy in Athens and business incubator Metavallon to offer a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the popular Coursera platform, with Greek content, for the first time!

Students, parents, alumni and guests joined the fun at PIERCE Open House 2014 with games, festivities, a pop concert, competitions, as well as art shows, cooking demos, and lots of singing, dancing and goodies to eat of course.
PIERCE Athletics Scholarships
“A healthy mind in a healthy body”
PIERCE, a school with a tradition in the athletic education and training of its students, every year and in every way supports young women and men with special abilities in athletics. In this context, PIERCE is including new scholarships in its program for the 2014 – 2015 school year that represent 50% of tuition fees.

PIERCE students took part in the international festival ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association) in Smyrna, Turkey, on March 6-9 – a celebration of theater and musical activities.
PIERCE student wins Best Delegate for second time at Model United Nations
Congratulations to PIERCE’s Eva Parisi, a junior (B Lyceum), who won Best Delegate in the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee during the recent Model United Nations, held at Anatolia College in Thessaloniki on February 21 – 23.
PIERCE Student wins 3rd prize at Archimidis Awards
Kudos to PIERCE senior (C Lyceum) Demetrios Diamantidis, who won third prize at the Hellenic Mathematical Society’s Archimidis 2014 event held February 22 and who is now vying for a position with the Greek Olympic Mathematics team.
PIERCE Team wins 3rd place at Forensics
Congratulations to the PIERCE Forensics team for winning third place at the Panhellenic Forensics Association Tournament 2014, held March 28-30, continuing the school’s tradition of Forensics success.
Two more PIERCE Students win innovation awards
PIERCE students once again won recognition for their innovative ideas – this time at the Panhellenic Mathematical Innovation Competition, held April 2 during Athens Information Technology in Painia, in the framework of the Global Enterprise Project – Innovation Camp. Organized by Junior Achievement Greece.
