DEREE & PIERCE Commencements
Congratulations to the Graduating Classes of 2014 – ACG’s new alumni!
The DEREE Class of 2014 will be graduating on June 28th in a ceremony at the DEREE Soccer Stadium, beginning at 20:30.
The PIERCE Class of 2014 will be graduating on July 2nd in a ceremony beginning at 20:00 at the PIERCE Theater.

STUDENT AWARDS CEREMONY 2014
DEREE – The American College of Greece will honor the academic and extracurricular achievements of its students at the 16th Student Awards Ceremony to be held on June 24 at the Irene Bailey Theater, beginning at 20:30.
The event will celebrate the spirit of students who shine academically, creatively and morally and who have made the most out of their experience at DEREE by challenging themselves academically and by making the difference as active members of the DEREE community.
DEREE ‘02-‘03-‘04 Reunion
It’s been twelve, thirteen and fourteen years, respectively, since your graduation. Join us for a celebration of all DEREE ’02-’03-’04 Classes on Friday, October 17th – 7:00pm at the Student Lounge & DEREE Corridor.
PIERCE 2004 Reunion
Join us on Friday, December 19th – 8:00pm at the Pierce Theater & Lobby as we celebrate the PIERCE 2004 Class in a ten-year reunion special evening.
DEREE & ALBA @ Posidonia
DEREE will be participating jointly with ALBA at the Posidonia 2014 exhibition, which will take place at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Center from Monday, June 2 to Friday, June 6.
ALBA will also be hosting an open seminar during the exhibition to be held in the Posidonia Seminar Room, on Thursday, June 5th, at 17:00. The seminar entitled “Maritime Education, Truth or Dare for Young Professionals – An Open Discussion with Industry Experts” is organized with the support of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS Greek Branch) and the International Propeller Club (Piraeus). Treading Lightly on Earth: Water and Sustainability
The day-long celebration will take place on Thursday, June 5 at the John S. Bailey Library and is organized by The Center of Excellence for Sustainability
This year’s Environment Day at DEREE – The American College of Greece will focus on water management and sustainability issues regarding this valuable resource. Members of the faculty and professionals from the environmental studies field will share their thoughts and discuss ideas towards building a sustainable water management plan.
MA in Developmental & Learning Disabilities – Open Evening
Join us on Thursday, June 5, 18:00 – 20:00 at the Center for the Arts Auditorium for an Open Evening organized by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to learn all about the MA in Developmental & Learning Disabilities.
