The governing body for basketball in Greece, the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association (known in Greek as ESAKE), held its 2014-15 Draw at the PIERCE College Theater on September 22.
Owners, head coaches and players of all the teams in the A1 Greek professional basketball league were present.
Greek State Sports Secretary Ioannis Andrianos, members of the Greek parliament – such as former national team coach Giannis Ioannidis – and many other distinguished Greek Basketball personalities, such as former national team coach Kostas Politis – winner of the Athens 1987 EuroBasket, and Panagiotis Giannakis – EuroBasket winner both as a player in Athens 1987 and as coach in Belgrade 2005, were also at the draw.
