Ainola Terzopoulou (PIERCE ’85, DEREE ‘90), journalist-turned-Pilates and bodyART instructor-as well as founder of the site www.livelifewell.gr, was back on campus September 27 to give a LiveLifeWell workshop on the occasion of BLENDER 2014 – a day of creativity and fun.

“The idea was to show people how Pilates can transform your life,” she says, adding, “It was great to be back on campus where I have so many memories from. The campus has really grown and I was impressed by all that is going on now at The American College of Greece – all that it offers.”

Over 300 people visited DEREE – The American College of Greece for BLENDER, co-organized by Kathimerini newspaper, DEREE and ALBA, and engaged in a slew of other fun activities as well – such as TEDx Academy live streaming, Zumba workout, a Lindy Hop dance performance, a RED FM party, tasting surprises, and the screening of the Dallas Buyers Club movie.

Ainola Terzopoulou is a graduate of both PIERCE College (’85) and DEREE College, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Marketing Management (‘90). Born and raised in Athens, she began her career in journalism at “Terzopoulos Publications” working most notably for Gynaika Magazine, the oldest women’s magazine in Greece founded by her grandfather in the ‘50s.
