Mayor Yiannis Boutaris of Thessaloniki has said he will propose naming a street or square after retired faculty member Professor Emeritus Albert Arouh, PhD, who passed away on April 12th.
Dr. Albert Arouh served DEREE as a full-time faculty member of economics for 33 years, touching the lives of thousands of students and all those who knew him.
He was also known as Epicurus, the famed restaurant critic. Mayor Boutaris announced the news during a presentation of the book written by the deceased “The Taste of Memory,” in Thessaloniki.
