What inspired you to choose your profession?
At University I read Engineering and my first job was in the financial sector with a (then) newly established hedge fund. At the time, I was doing a fair amount of programming and my job exposed me to the financial sector.

Leonidas Cheliotis (DEREE ’03), Assistant Professor in Criminology at the Department of Social Policy, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), has won the 2014 Best Public Intellectual Special Issue Award by the US Council of Editors of Learned Journals, Modern Language Association (MLA).
