DEREE alumni from Heraklion shared their insights with prospective students and parents during DEREE Visits Your City’s Heraklion stop on February 8.

Following a presentation of DEREE by a host of university officials, it was the turn of DEREE alumni from the local community to take the stage. The group spoke of their academic and professional paths, and advised students on the importance of choosing the right education for their future careers.

Thank you to Marios Floros (DEREE ’01, Accounting & Finance) who works for FMCS, Financial Management Consulting Services, Maria Orfanaki (DEREE ’03, Communication), who is a Radio Producer, Emmanouil Pervolianakis (DEREE ’07, Accounting & Finance), who is Assistant Manager at METRO AEBE, Areti Kornelaki (Certificate minor ’14, in Marketing), who is pursuing her graduate studies at the Cass Business School, and Anna Katsaneva (Certificate minor ’14, in Marketing), who works as a Groups & Events Administrator at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, for their advice and words of wisdom at the DEREE Heraklion event, which took place at the Capsis Astoria Heraklion.

A cocktail reception followed.
