<p><strong>Poseidon will Protect You: Gifts to the god on the Isthmus,&#8221; a lecture by Professor Elizabeth Gebhard</strong></p>
<p>The lecture will take place on Thursday, <strong>March 19</strong><sup> </sup>at 1:40 pm, at the AC Auditorium, DEREE-ACG, and is being organized by The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Archaeology Area, in collaboration with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.</p>
<p>Dr Gebhard is Professor Emeritus of Classics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and currently Honorary Fellow in the Department of Classics at Edinburgh University.  She has been the director of the University of Chicago excavations at Isthmia since 1976 and, in that position, has overseen excavation as well as extensive conservation and publication campaigns.  Her own work encompasses not only numerous detailed publications of a variety of aspects of the sanctuary of Poseidon at Isthmia, but also examines the early theatre through the excavated remains at the Isthmian sanctuary.  Her lecture will give an overview of the sanctuary through its myth and archaeology, incorporating current theoretical viewpoints.</p>

<p><strong>Business Week 2015<strong>: Export Led Growth</strong></strong></p>
<p>Business Week, the annual forum organized by the <strong>Academic Societies of the School of Business </strong>of the American College of Greece (ACG), will take place on the ACG campus <strong>Monday, March 30 &#8211; Thursday, April 02</strong> at the <strong>John S. Bailey Library</strong></p>
<p>It aims to bring together ACG business students, faculty and alumni with distinguished industry professionals and academics from different fields of business. For a number of years this high-profile event has enjoyed excellent participation, and has succeeded in fostering the sharing of knowledge, ideas and best practices between business and academia.</p>

<p><strong>Piano at its Forte</strong></p>
<p>The concerts series will this year be hosted at The American College of Greece through May 2015, and features a slew of distinguished soloists.</p>
<p>There will also be two special concerts. The first special concert took place on <strong>Saturday, January 31: </strong>“Piano at its Forte JUNIOR,” and featured three pianists aged 12-14: <strong>Katerina Katamadze, Chara Tsipizidou, and Stathis Papadiamantopoulos.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The main calendar features:</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Director of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival, Charalambos Aggelopoulos</strong>, who performed a solo on Wednesday, <strong>February 25</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Alexia Mouza-Arenas</strong> will perform her solo on Saturday, <strong>March 21</strong>.</p>
<p>Pianist-conductor-poet, <strong>Nikos Laaris</strong>, will perform his solo on Saturday, <strong>April 18</strong>.</p>
<p>The main series will be brought to an end by the extraordinary piano duo <strong>Pincetic-Sakellaridis</strong>, on Wednesday, <strong>May 13</strong>.</p>
<p>On Wednesday, <strong>April 1</strong>, enjoy a second special concert – an <strong>All-Mozart-Evening with the Athens Youth Symphony (ASON),</strong> collaborating with exceptional soloists in three Mozart piano concertos; <strong>Giorgos Konstantinou, Agathe Leimoni, and Dimitri Vassilakis</strong> will play Mozart concertos KV 453, 466, and 488 respectively, with the ASON Orchestra under the direction of <strong>Pantelis Kogiamis.</strong></p>

<p>The lecture will take place on Thursday, <strong>March 19</strong><sup> </sup>at 1:40 pm, at the AC Auditorium, DEREE-ACG, and is being organized by The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Archaeology Area, in collaboration with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.</p>
<p>Dr Gebhard is Professor Emeritus of Classics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and currently Honorary Fellow in the Department of Classics at Edinburgh University.  She has been the director of the University of Chicago excavations at Isthmia since 1976 and, in that position, has overseen excavation as well as extensive conservation and publication campaigns.  Her own work encompasses not only numerous detailed publications of a variety of aspects of the sanctuary of Poseidon at Isthmia, but also examines the early theatre through the excavated remains at the Isthmian sanctuary.  Her lecture will give an overview of the sanctuary through its myth and archaeology, incorporating current theoretical viewpoints.</p>

<p><strong>Business Week 2015<strong>: Export Led Growth</strong></strong></p>
<p>Business Week, the annual forum organized by the <strong>Academic Societies of the School of Business </strong>of the American College of Greece (ACG), will take place on the ACG campus <strong>Monday, March 30 &#8211; Thursday, April 02</strong> at the <strong>John S. Bailey Library</strong></p>
<p>It aims to bring together ACG business students, faculty and alumni with distinguished industry professionals and academics from different fields of business. For a number of years this high-profile event has enjoyed excellent participation, and has succeeded in fostering the sharing of knowledge, ideas and best practices between business and academia.</p>

<p><strong>Piano at its Forte</strong></p>
<p>The concerts series will this year be hosted at The American College of Greece through May 2015, and features a slew of distinguished soloists.</p>
<p>There will also be two special concerts. The first special concert took place on <strong>Saturday, January 31: </strong>“Piano at its Forte JUNIOR,” and featured three pianists aged 12-14: <strong>Katerina Katamadze, Chara Tsipizidou, and Stathis Papadiamantopoulos.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The main calendar features:</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Director of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival, Charalambos Aggelopoulos</strong>, who performed a solo on Wednesday, <strong>February 25</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Alexia Mouza-Arenas</strong> will perform her solo on Saturday, <strong>March 21</strong>.</p>
<p>Pianist-conductor-poet, <strong>Nikos Laaris</strong>, will perform his solo on Saturday, <strong>April 18</strong>.</p>
<p>The main series will be brought to an end by the extraordinary piano duo <strong>Pincetic-Sakellaridis</strong>, on Wednesday, <strong>May 13</strong>.</p>
<p>On Wednesday, <strong>April 1</strong>, enjoy a second special concert – an <strong>All-Mozart-Evening with the Athens Youth Symphony (ASON),</strong> collaborating with exceptional soloists in three Mozart piano concertos; <strong>Giorgos Konstantinou, Agathe Leimoni, and Dimitri Vassilakis</strong> will play Mozart concertos KV 453, 466, and 488 respectively, with the ASON Orchestra under the direction of <strong>Pantelis Kogiamis.</strong></p>
