DEREE Comm. Graduate Students win big in Copenhagen!
On January 24, five DEREE communication graduate students traveled to Copenhagen to participate in the international competition ComCaseCompetition ’15. A few days later, they came back to Athens richer in experiences and achievements, as they managed to make it to the top three finalists in the competition, demonstrating their wide array of strategic skills.
DEREE Model UN Charity Fundraising
Congratulations to the DEREE Model United Nations (MUN) Club for its rich fundraising activity over November and December in particular, helping raise funds for UNICEF through a bake sale and by taking part in a nationwide Telethon on November 20, Universal Children’s Day.

Graduate Certificate In Psychology Introduces Blended Learning Courses
Starting in spring semester 2015, the Graduate Certificate in Psychology program at the DEREE – School of Graduate and Professional Education will be delivered in a blended learning format. Blended learning combines face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning.
ACG Vasilopita: An Evening of Service Recognition and Celebration
On Friday, February 6, staff and faculty of The American College of Greece gathered at the Student Lounge Center for the annual Vasiliopita Cutting event (New Year’s cake cutting), during which the Service Recognition awards honored employees who have served the mission and vision of ACG with dedication for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years.
Renowned Psychotherapist Dr Yeomans Delivers Lecture & Workshop on Transference-Focused Psychotherapy at DEREE
Prior to beginning Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), “it is important for an analyst and patient to come to an agreement around the tasks and goals of the therapy,” noted Cornell Professor and psychotherapist Dr Frank Yeomans during an open lecture at DEREE-The American College of Greece.
