<strong>Piano at its Forte</strong>, the concerts series being hosted at The American College of Greece this year was brought to a close on May 13 by the extraordinary piano duo <strong>Beata Pincetić </strong>and<strong> Christos Sakellaridis, </strong>who performed original compositions and transcriptions by Mozart, the Candide overture by Bernstein, four Norwegian dances by Grieg and Two rags by Bolcom to a teeming audience at the <strong>PIERCE Theater</strong>.</p>
<p>Over the year, a slew of distinguished soloists and two special concerts were featured in the series, including<strong> </strong>“Piano at its Forte JUNIOR,” featuring three pianists aged 12-14: <strong>Katerina Katamadze, Chara Tsipizidou, and Stathis Papadiamantopoulos, </strong>and on April 1, the second special concert featured an <strong>All-Mozart-Evening with the Athens Youth Symphony (ASON),</strong> collaborating with exceptional soloists in three Mozart piano concertos; <strong>Giorgos Konstantinou, Agathe Leimoni, and Dimitri Vassilakis</strong>, who performed Mozart concertos KV 453, 466, and 488 respectively, with the ASON Orchestra under the direction of <strong>Pantelis Kogiamis.</strong></p>
