Well done to PIERCE-The American College of Greece (ACG) students who once again raised funds to donate items to social organizations active in supporting and protecting children and their families suffering from Greece’s economic crisis.
The funds raised were used to buy food, heating oil, medicine, toys, and first-aid items for the Children’s Care Centre Mitera, and the network Rights of the Children of the Athens Municipality’s Hospitality and Solidarity Centre, as well as the Social Welfare Centre of Attica.
Parents also contributed items, and together students along with their advisors and teachers showed once more their heightened consciousness in dealing with important social issues, making the whole ACG community very proud.
