A recent collaboration between the newspaper Proto Thema and Deree – The American College of Greece produced an exposé on the state of education in Greece, and the entry of young people in the job market.
The Education Project, is made up of a range of articles looking at issues such as: necessary skills for millennials entering the job market, and why soft skills are “like magnets” for employers; a look at which careers have the most promising future in the continuing financial crisis and the ever-changing market; an insightful take on the relationship between academic studies and the career landscape, and the Top 10 fields that students choose; as well as the Brain Drain phenomenon, and how one way to tackle it and increase young people’s employability, is by offering students opportunities like scholarships, internships and study abroad.
