The American College of Greece released its new institutional website [www.acg.edu] in late February, and it turned out to be an immediate hit.
The redesigned site is a fresh new expression of the growing ACG community and has been updated to include the most current information about programs and resources, while featuring a more streamlined navigation.
The site provides support and information with easy access to myACG Portal, student resources, the ALBA Graduate Business at The American College of Greece, the DEREE Graduate School and Undergraduate Programs.
In the weeks ahead, ACG will be adding new features and functionality to the new site. These will include a searchable database of Faculty & Staff, new alumni portal, News & Events blogs and community dialogue and social media features. Already, a news and events blog (http://acgmediaandpress.com) is up and running, and DEREE’s YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/DereeCollegeTube/feed) is experiencing a large growth in traffic as it begins to host videos of academic and other conferences taking place on campus.
Since the launch of the new site, ACG has also seen its social media traffic spike significantly.
The online DEREE Magazine, designed to make the publication more interactive and widely accessible, is also part of this effort.
