Spiros Mavrogalos (DEREE ’91) was named Chief Executive Officer at Ethniki Asfalistiki in October, after serving as Assistant General Manager at the National Bank of Greece (the insurance company’s parent company) between 2008-2013.

Previously, Mavrogalos worked as Group Chief Operations Officer at Cosmote for five years (2002-2007) and also held a number of executive positions at Eurobank Ergasias between 1996 to 2002. Following his studies at DEREE, Mavrogalos earned his MBA from the University of Nottingham in 1992.

Christina Mirkin (DEREE ’89) has been appointed Business Development Manager & Marketing Director at Olympic Brewery SA. Mirkin’s career spans executive positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Nestle, Coca-Cola, HSBC, Mythos Brewery-Carlsberg Group, and Elgeka. After studying at DEREE, Mirkin earned her MBA from the University of La-Verne in 1993.

Marilena Kapsali (DEREE ’97) has taken over as Account Manager @ Eu Zin, having previously served as Corporate Communication & Marketing Manager at Sabo SA, Bang & Olufsen, Sony, Adel S&S. She received her MA in Public Relations from the European University Institute in 2000 following her studies at DEREE.
