With nearly 34,000 alumni from all over the globe to choose from, the Alumni Achievement Awards aim to celebrate those alumni who have not only excelled in their fields, but have also made an impact on society at large, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps or to blaze new extraordinary trails.
PIERCE and DEREE alumni will be recognized at the 2014 Alumni Achievement Awards (at a date to be announced) for their outstanding contribution to Arts & Culture, the Sciences, Education, Philanthropy, Business, Community Service, Entrepreneurship, Lifetime Achievement, and Greek Heritage.

The inaugural ACG Alumni Awards (2011) were dedicated to honoring women of Vision, Leadership and Impact. The winners were
Ms Maya Lymberopoulou, Actor – Director, PIERCE ’57, who received the Women in Arts Award
Ms Theano Lianidou, General Manager, Mars Italy, DEREE ’88, who won the Women in Business Award
Ms Nancy Papalexandris, Former Vice Rector – Professor, Athens University of Economics and Business & Director of the Masters Program in Human Resources Management, DEREE ’66, who was recognized in the Women in Education Award
Ms Vana Lavidas, President of MDA Hellas, DEREE ’79, who won the Women in Philanthropy Award
Ms Anna Benaki, Professor – former President of the Hellenic Parliament -Member of the Academy of Athens, PIERCE ’52, PIERCE Upper -Division ’53, received the Women in Public Service Award
Ms Eleni Cubitt, PIERCE ’42, Founder – Honorary Secretary of the British Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles, won The Maria West Life-Time Achievement Award.
Proceeds from the 2014 Alumni Achievement Awards will support the ACG Alumni Scholarship Fund.
