Through a process open to the public, nominations for the 2014 ACG Alumni Achievement Awards were collected online and assessed by a committee made up of American College of Greece administrators, faculty, and alumni.
An alumni committee consisting of PIERCE, DEREE, and ALBA alumni volunteers will now spread the word to their fellow alumni and support the event in several other ways as well. Their enthusiasm and motivation are remarkable!
The AAA Alumni Committee is made up of:
Evangelos Bertsekas (ALBA ’01), “Being a member of the ALBA Alumni community makes me feel proud. Meeting and connecting with interesting people, discussing business issues, giving back to the school. Let us all together celebrate the successes of ACG alumni on Friday, September 12.”
Christos Chrysostalis (ALBA ’04), who tells Touch Base “I am proud to be an ALBA Alumni, willing to help spread its values, acting as a catalyst for change, leading in an ethical and sustainable way. On Friday, the 12th of September, we recognize the achievements of our fellow alumni. Join us to celebrate with your presence to the Scholarship Fund.”
Nikos Giannakis (DEREE ’81), who notes “as a DEREE graduate, “I invite all my fellow alumni to attend this special recognition event on Friday, the 12th of September and at the same time contribute with your presence to the scholarship fund.”
Sylvia Koutsomitopoulou (PIERCE ’66, DEREE ’70), who tells Touch Base “Following the practice of our College to offer quality education to students who want but cannot afford it, I would like you to join me at the Alumni Achievement Awards event at the American College of Greece to support ACG scholarships.”
