Recognition of Professional Rights
Dear fellow alumni,
We are happy to inform you that, on Thursday November 27, the Greek parliament voted in favor of an amendment that opens the way for the recognition of the professional rights of DEREE bachelor’s degrees, based on the College’s New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation.

Alumna Venia Dimitrakopoulou’s Athens Art Show
PROMAHONES – a sculptural installation by alumna Venia Dimitrakopoulou (PIERCE ‘83) is on until February 8 at the Benaki Museum at the Atrium of the Pireos Street Annex. It is an installation of a monumental scale made of steel. The work refers to a hypothetical state of siege, to the stage of being on guard, on the ramparts, in the resistance.
