Anna Ioannidou (PIERCE ‘92) is now Operations Manager at Terania Green Boutique Cottages in The Channon, NSW, Australia, and also works as a small-group caterer -“Anna is Cooking” – in the area.
Ms Ioannidou has worked as a freelance Desktop Publishing Specialist for two years in the Channon, NSW, Australia, but her creative work spans a number of industries in Australia, Egypt, Greece, New Zealand, and the UK, including video, outdoor educational activities, scuba diving, copywriting and environmental work to name but a few.
She graduated from PIERCE-ACG in 1992, earned her BA (Hons) in Graphic & Media Design in 1997 from the London College of Communication, and in 2008 her Joint BA (Hons) in Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Tourism, Adventure Tourism Marketing from the University of Derby.
Corinna Saias (PIERCE ’93, DEREE ‘98) is the owner and designer of Corinna Saias Luxury Sandals, based in Miami, USA, where she designs and promotes her collections of glamorous women’s sandals.
Inspired by Ancient Greece, the sandals are classically rendered with a modern and glitzy twist. All of the sandals are hand-made in Athens, Greece from the highest quality of Italian materials. Ms Saias previously worked in the online banking sector with winbank (Piraeus bank) in Greece and then with Hewlett Packard in Geneva, Switzerland, managing the marketing activities of the online store (hp.com) for EMEA.
Corinna Saias graduated from PIERCE-ACG in 1993 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from DEREE-ACG in 1998, followed by her MBA from Bentley College in Boston in 2000.
Stefanos Athanasiadis (DEREE ‘99) is now Director, Head of Divisional Strategy, Private Banking and Wealth Management at Credit Suisse in Zurich, Switzerland. Previously, Mr Athanasiadis worked as Project Leader for the Boston Consulting Group in Athens, as a Case Team Leader for Bain & Company in Dubai, and for Deutsche Bank in London, among others.
Mr Athanasiadis earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from DEREE-ACG in 1999, followed by his Master’s in Mathematical Finance from the University of Amsterdam in 2000, and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2006.
Besu Feleke (DEREE ’02) is now AVP Business Lender, Manager at TD Bank in Washington, DC after working as a Financial Advisor at Community Lodgings in Virginia for five years.
Mr Felke has also worked as VP of Business Banking at Congressional Banking in Washington DC, as Market Leader, Financial Center Leader at BB&T, as Vice Chair of the African Working Group, and as Business Development Manager at Hertz, all in Washington DC.
Mr Feleke earned his BA in Sociology from DEREE-ACG in 2002, his BS in History from Radford University in 2004, and his Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution – Economic Development and Peace-building from George Mason University in 2015. While at DEREE, Mr Feleke worked as an Assistant at the Office of Financial Affairs, played in the Basketball Team, and also served as Vice President of the Friendship International Club. While at Radford University, Mr Feleke worked as Assistant to the Vice President, University Advancement-Development.
Christina Perraki (DEREE ’03) is now a Management Consultant at the National Bank of Greece (NBG) in the Retail Segments – Bank-Wide Loyalty, after working in the same capacity but in the Premium Banking Division and again as Management Consultant for close to eight years in NBG’s Marketing & Group Communication Division. She has also worked as an Assistant Brand Manager at Vivartia for Milko, and for White Milk, and previously also worked for Avis Rent a Car.
Ms Perraki earned her Bachelor’s in Marketing Management from DEREE-ACG in 2003, followed by her MSc in Marketing from the University of Leicester in 2004.
Achilleas Gasionas (DEREE ’06) is now in customer service at SIKA in Greece, responsible for customers’ claims after serving as a Marketer, Graphic Designer, and at the IT Helpdesk at the same company for five years. He also currently works as a freelance sales representative in Greece and the Netherlands, and has also worked for Public Power Corporation in Greece and for First Data Hellas SA.
Achilleas Gasionas earned his Associate degree in business, Management and Economics from IEK Ag. Stefanou in Athens in 2004, followed by his Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems from DEREE-ACG in 2006. He is also currently studying computer programming at the Hellenic Open University.
Nikolaos (Nick) Papacosmas (DEREE ’06) is now Business Relationship Manager & Project Integration Manager at Daimler AG in Stuttgart, Germany. Previously, Mr Papacosmas worked as IT Project Manager at Mercedes-Benz Hellas for eight years, and prior to that as IT Manager at SBSC SA, as IT Manger at Tour Operator Betis Travel, and as a System Engineer at Eurobank Equities Investment Firm SA in Greece.
Mr Papacosmas earned his BSc in Computer Information Systems in 2006, followed by his MBA from the University of Leicester
Dennis Koliris (DEREE ’07) is now Senior Mobile Developer for INTRALOT Interactive, after working for Velti as a Mobile Applications Engineer for close to five years in Greece. Previously, Mr Koliris interned as a Software Engineer for Altec in Greece.
Dennis Koliris earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DEREE-ACG in 2007, followed by his MSc in Mobile Computing, with merit, from Westminster University in 2008.
Christos Bamplekos (DEREE ’12) is now Digital Strategy Planner at Reloadbuzz in Shanghai, China, after working as a Marketing Associate for VisaShanghai, and also as a Global Marketing Specialist for Rema Expo Service, all in Shanghai city.
Mr Bamplekos has also worked as an Assistant Manager for Chinese suppliers at the Athens office of Sakkis-Bablekos SRL, and as an Army Correspondence Manager for the Hellenic Army.
Christos Bamplekos earned his Bachelor’s in Management from DEREE in 2012, followed by his Master’s in International Business from Hult International Business School in 2013.
