Mary-Irene Triantafillou, Executive Director of Development
Mary-Irene Triantafillou joined the staff of ACG in 2009. She received her BS in Marketing from DEREE in 1989 and in 1992 she earned her MBA from Chicago’s Loyola University. She is a marketing and strategic development professional with over 20 years of experience primarily in international wine and beverage industries, with a proven track record of accomplishments in international sales, marketing and public relations. In the wine sector she was the youngest person and the first woman to become a member of the board of directors of Wines from Greece, the highest representative body in the Greek wine sector. She has served as a consultant for private companies in Greece and has also been elected to the board of directors of both private companies and non-profit associations. She initiated, organized and led a delegation of women wine entrepreneurs in the first commercial mission of its kind to Osaka and Tokyo in Japan, under the auspices of the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board. Mary-Irene has served as President of three professional nonprofit associations: the International Associated Women in Wine, the Greek Women of Wine, and the Aegean Wineries. She is Greek-American and married to Nick Pitsakis D ’91. They have two daughters Alkistis-Nicol 16 and Anais 13 who are both students at PIERCE.
