Pierce Alumna in Greece’s Dream Team

How does it feel to be among the stars? Marilida Tsiplakou (P’17) knows, because she achieved 1st place (18.823 points) among entrants to the University of Athens, Department of Economics. She talked to Kathimerini about her success. Marilida, doesn’t rule out her involvement with politics in the future. For now though, she just passed by the students of the political parties she saw on the day of the registration for courses. “For the time being, I am happy I succeeded in the Panhellenic Exams, and I’m thinking of pursuing postgraduate studies in England. Coming first is a matter of luck. But, the effort is always rewarded”, she remarks and adds “Everyone’s energy is needed for a better tomorrow”.
