Petros Economou, a Deree 1993 Alumnus (BA in Economics), recently became Director and COO at In4Capital, a UK global funding platform matching startups/companies with investors.
With over 20 years of experience in Business Development, Investing, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance, he has also worked for companies such as Hewlett Packard (ISE region), EFG Eurobank, Bank of Cyprus and Laiki Bank.
He served as a business planning and financing consultant and a consulting partner at Expense Reduction Analysts, a leading global cost management firm.
He was also among the founding partners of Verallis, a cost and procurement consultancy firm while he has also served as a business development executive at a UK oil arbitrage company.
Petros Economou also holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, and a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Financial Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
