With the Blackboard App, students can access the information they need, connect with their peers, and customize their learning experience – all while on the move. By putting the power of education into the hands of students, we’re making sure they stay connected to their academic journey, no matter where they are. The Blackboard Learn app is designed especially for you to view content and participate in courses.

It has multiple useful features that are helpful for the students. Those are the following:

Install app and Log in

Use these steps to download and install the Blackboard Learn app.

  1. From your tablet or phone, access the appropriate app store.

    Download to your IOS device

    Apple App Store
    Note: Your Apple device must have iOS 13+ in order for you to download the Blackboard App.

    Download to your Android device

    Google Play
    Note: Your Android device must have Android 11+ in order for you to download the Blackboard App.
  2. If you are unable to find the app through the link, search for Blackboard.
  3. Install the Blackboard Learn app on your mobile device.

  4. Open the Blackboard Learn app and search for our institution’s full name – that is The American College of Greece. If you still can’t find your institution, contact your institution’s IT help desk.
  5. Log in with your Blackboard Learn username and password. These are the same credentials you use to access your Blackboard courses on a computer.

Touch ID

If you have enabled iOS Touch ID or Android fingerprint login on your device, you can easily log in to the Blackboard Learn app using your fingerprint or Face ID.
  1. Log in to the Blackboard Learn app with your username and password.
  2. If you are asked whether to use Touch ID or fingerprint login, simply tap on the “Continue” option.
    • If you’re already logged into the app, go to the main menu, tap MoreSettings, and toggle on Touch ID to enable it.

Note: Your Blackboard Learn app information can be accessed by anyone who has saved your fingerprint or passcode.

Face ID

The Face ID option is activated.

Face ID is supported on iOS devices for the Blackboard Learn app, while Android facial recognition is currently not supported. Once you have enabled Face ID on your device, you can use it to easily log in to the Blackboard Learn app.

To enable the feature, you must follow these steps:

It’s worth noting that these steps may vary slightly depending on the version of iOS you are using.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Passwords
  3. Select Password Options
  4. Make sure the AutoFill Passwords toggle is on
  5. Select Blackboard

  6. Open the Blackboard Learn app
  7. Once you’re in the Web Login, type your Username and Password
  8. When prompted, choose the option to save the password in Blackboard by selecting “Save”.

When you access the Blackboard Learn application, you can use the Passwords feature to automatically fill in your login details for Blackboard.

Auto Login on Android

Auto-login on Android devices

To enable this feature, you must follow these steps:

Please note that the following steps may vary slightly based on the version of Android you are using.

  1. Open the Blackboard Learn app
  2. Type your Username and Password
  3. When prompted, choose the option to save the password to Google by clicking on the “Save” button.

The next time you access the Blackboard Learn app, you can select “Account Access” and then choose your account information to automatically fill in your login details.
