Nearing the end of one’s school career can be a daunting time, especially if pursing studies abroad is part of the plan. In an effort to inform students, PIERCE organized 5 days of visits from several universities abroad.
Spokespeople from the US Universities of Boston, Rochester, Richmond and Syracuse presented their institutions to the high school students, offering a slice of life at an American university. PIERCE students also had the chance to attend presentations by representatives of the John Cabot University in Italy, and the New York University of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Our aim was for students to have a glimpse into the world of studying abroad and university life, and to have all the information they need about universities, courses, and the procedure of applying abroad. We hope that their next steps now seem less worrisome, as they lead to a brand new and truly exciting chapter of their life!
