Irene Corantis
In 2000, Irene Corantis graduated summa cum laude from Deree with a Bachelor of Science in Management, with an almost impossible 4.0 grade point average! While at Deree, Irene was President of the Ambassadors Organization and upon graduation, she received an Academic Achievement Award, as well as the President’s Award.
After her studies at ACG and just 2 years of Brand Management at Procter and Gamble, she went on to the University of California, Berkeley to obtain an MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business, where she was also a Fulbright Foundation Scholar and a recipient of several other scholarships and awards.
Irene then returned to Greece and worked at Ideal Standard and NotosCom Holdings before joining the Coca-Cola Company, where she has been since 2008. Beginning as a Brand Manager for Coca-Cola Regular in Greece, Irene has moved on to various positions, her new one being Content Excellence Marketing Manager Sparkling Beverages for 23 markets of Central and Southern Europe.
Aggeliki Douka
Aggeliki studied Management at Deree, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science. Our graduate then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration, at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
After her Master’s, Aggeliki worked at Ericsson and at PRogressivePR, one of the largest public relations and communication agencies in Athens, before moving on to the exciting new position of Communications & PR Manager at the ANTENNA Group.
Amaryllis Samara
Alumna Amaryllis Samara graduated from Pierce in 2001 and continued her studies, earning herself a Bachelor and Master of Science in Architecture at the University of Thessaly in Volos. In 2008, she moved to London to complete a Master’s degree in Interior Design at Chelsea College, London University of Arts.
Amaryllis began her professional career in the UK, working as a designer in various architectural practices and for the last 4 years she has joined the construction management teams of international contractor companies.
Her portfolio includes numerous luxury residential and commercial projects, the majority of them being in the Greater London area, as well as the first Passivhaus School in London.
Amaryllis currently lives in North London and she currently holds the position of Designer Manager at ISG plc, an international construction services company, completing two private residences in Notting Hill.
George Takos
George Takos graduated with honors from Deree in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, (being the Vice President of the CIS Society) after which he continued his studies in Pace University – Lubin School of Business, in NY, with an MBA in Financial Management.
Our graduate then worked at British American Tobacco as a Marketing Finance Assistant, before getting promoted to Marketing Finance Executive. As of recently, George has turned the page to a new, exciting career chapter by joining telecommunications Vodafone, as a Senior Financial Analyst.
