Innovative business ideas are growing steadily from the seed planted by the Pierce Junior Achievement Club. The Pierce students have been participating in the global educational “Company Program” where they form their own student company. The program helps students develop an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as work as a team towards a common goal, among many other skills.
Our students will be participating in the 2016 Student Trade Fair, which will take place on Friday, April 1, at 10:00 – 15.00, at the Mall Athens in Marousi. We wish them the best of luck!
This year’s idea is a mobile app called Budgee (stands for Budget Electronic Education), through which young users can learn to manage their money properly. The business cooperates with the IT Company iProject, has ALPHA BANK as its primary sponsor, and The American College of Greece is its proud, main supporter.
Budgee works like an anonymous company in simulation, in that it has its own capital, organization, and business plan, and operates like a modern business, passing through all the stages of development.
