Bb user account – Ultra

Once you log in you are displayed with the initial page of the environment.
At the left of the page, there is a menu with tabs and the Sign-out button. 

Let’s begin with the tabs:

  • Institution page: The go-to resource for your academic community where you can find useful links and important content that school-related.
  • User Info page: In the account menu, under your name, you’ll find your profile. On this page, you can add your personal details and upload a photo.
  • Activity Stream: It records all actions within your courses. You are presented with the initial page of the environment, where you can view a summary of recent activities and updates.
  • Courses: Find all the courses to which you are enrolled in Blackboard.
    • Keep in mind: Students are enrolled in their Blackboard (Bb) courses after the end of the online late registration period, and no later than the first day of classes. Enrollment updates continue for up to 10 days afterward.
  • Organizations: From this section, you can access various schools, committees and general organizations, such as the ACG Health & Wellness Center.
  • Calendar: View upcoming events, due dates and create new ones for your courses.
  • Messages: Messages in Blackboard Ultra are course-specific communications between instructors and students. They allow you to send and receive messages without using email.
  • Grades: The Grades page in Blackboard Ultra displays all your graded work across courses in one place. You can track your progress, view feedback, and see upcoming or missing assignments.
  • Tools: The Tools area in Blackboard Ultra provides access to various features and resources, such as  content management, and external integrations like Microsoft OneDrive. It allows you to access important functions in one convenient location. Its contents include the following:
    • Content Collection
    • Portfolios
    • Course Eval
    • Microsoft OneDrive

Edit your info and preferences

In the list where your name appears, click your name to open your profile. Your profile is where you can edit the information associated with your account. While you cannot delete your profile, certain details can be updated. To change your name, follow these steps:

          1. In the list where your name appears, click your name to open your profile.

          2. Hover over a detail, such as Full Name, and click the pencil icon.

          3. In the panel, make the necessary changes.

          4. Click Done when you’re finished.

You can also add your picture to personalize your profile.
