Bb user account – Ultra

Once you log in you are displayed with the initial page of the environment.
At the left of the page, there is a menu with nine fixed tabs and the Sign-out button. At the right side of the page you will see links for the following categories:

  1. Deree Academic Services
  2. IT Services
  3. Videos for your better assistance in Blackboard

Let’s begin with the tabs:

  • Institution page: The go-to resource for your academic community where you can find useful links and important content that school-related.
  • User Info page: In the account menu, where your name is, there is the profile. On this page, you can add your details and a photo of you. You can also choose the language in which you will see your lessons as well as customize the notifications that you will receive from Blackboard.
  • Activity Stream: The updated activity stream records all the actions in your lessons.
  • Courses: Find all the courses to which you are registered at the moment
    • Keep in mind: Students are enrolled in their Bb courses after the end of online late registration and at the latest by the first day of classes. If you cannot see your course for any reason, notify your Professor. He/she will make sure that you are enrolled in the Blackboard course or that the course is on and available for the students to see.
  • Organizations: From this point, you can have access to Groups and their Academies school. Also from this area, you have access to the organization of the library as well in general content
    organizations such as ACG Health & Wellness Center.
  • Calendar: View events and due dates for all your courses.Find all the courses to which you are registered at the moment
  • Messages: Total messages page
  • Grades: Total Score Page
  • Tools: In the list where your name appears, select Tools to get access to general functions that are outside the course.

    • Portfolios
    • Course Eval
    • Microsoft OneDrive

Edit your info and preferences

Your profile is the place to edit the information attached to your persona. Your profile appears with some information, and you can’t delete your profile. There are not all options available for change. Follow the steps to change your name:

  1. In the list where your name appears, select your name to access your profile.
  2. Point to a detail such as Full Name and select the pencil icon.
  3. In the panel, make changes.
  4. Select Done when you’re finished.

You can also add and change your pronouns. Moreover, you can also add your picture to personalize your profile.
